ANY MPG INCREASE WITH K&N DROP IN

I think a lot of folks replace an old dirty stock filter with a new k&n, and then assume the resulting mpg increase is due to the brand of filter as opposed to a clean vs dirty filter.

For everyone, what kind of fuel are you running? I have tried several flavors (Conoco, Exxon, Chevron, Flying J, Sinclair) and my truck gets another 1.5 mpg when I run Conoco. Try it for a tank or two. No, I do not own Conoco stock.
