Default 4.7 CPU Flash

A member (manogman) was talking in the 4.7 Perf. thread about a dealer flashing his cpu and gaining quite a bit. Anyone heard of this and better yet what he did to the CPU? I guess he had a connection at the dealershipto get it done.

All the dealer is doing is reflashing your pcm with an updated version. Not from a performance aspect, either.Hawkdriver and Nypanama42, you guys should get a superchips 3715.

well, normally 287cc is right, but i was talking about a guy that i wouk with and he used to work at the dodge dealer in his ome town, so he used his private connections in the garage to get it done. he said something about fuel delivery and a few other things that i dont really remember, but his 4.7 spanked my hemi pretty bad.

in response to nypanama, if you take it to the dealer and the cpu is anything but bone stock, they will not touch it, and they may void your warranty, but dont know for sure.

287cc, this is a little off topic but how do you like your 2 wheel drive truck lifted? I have a )2 with 4.7 and have been thinking of a suspension lift. Whose lift do you have?
