Default pulling the radio

Hey guys I have to pull my radio out to install an IPOD adapter and was wondering if anybody has done this before. I looked in the manual and it shows 1 screw holding on the center plastic piece. I have looked and can not find that 1 screw and don't want to break anything by yanking on it. Also is it just the wood looking piece that will come out?Do I need to disconnect the battery for this? Any guidance would be great.

For mine... all I do is remove the one screw from behind the "hook" (to the left of the glove box)... then I just pull on it lightly because other than the one screw it is just clipped in...

In the manual it was showing a screw somewhere on the face of it really couldn't make out exactly where it was suppose to be. I will remove the screw behind the hook just in case.

I have removed the center bezel 10+ times and I have never removed a screw on the face.. haha.

I just remove the screw behind the hook, and pull very very lightly and you will feel it starting to pull out...

I did it today and was done in less than an hour. Thanks cr80renob. That was so easy, and now the ipod sounds great again.
