I bought my 04 with 72000 miles. Reg cab short box w/ Hemi, sport, 20's, etc... Talked them down from 15k to 13k and got 8 for my civic. With the difference, I purchased an extended warranty for a grand. In my opinion, I would rather spend the grand and not use the warranty than replace a transmission out of my pocket. However, all is well so far.

Look man, I just bought an 03 w/ 183K on it that runs like a scalded dog. The only issue ive had is the throttle body being dirty due to a K&N filter. Picked it up for 8 grand w/ 150K powertrain warranty. I look at it like this: the higher the miles in a few year old vehicle meant it was a good one. The p.o. trusted to drive it on the highway for long distances. Brand new, old they all develop issues but if I can save 30k over a brand new one I will, I can buy a bunch of transmissions and engines for 30k. Just my opinion.

Bought my 03 Hemi Sport Laramie with 31K on it for 16500. I have put about 5k on it so far and I love it. I think I got a good deal on it, considering I could not find another one even close to the price.

yea i would say you got a deal. What's the trick? I'm just trying to use Autotrader and Cars.com right now. I have to wait for my Tacoma to sell anyway.

Yea that is what I did also and I just took my time(2-3 months). I had to drive 200 miles to get it but it was worth the wait and the drive. It was also from a private owner so that was real nice here in Az I did not have to pay taxes on it.

i see.

I asked this in another thread but Ill ask again here because I never really got a solid answer. Do the 2wd with 20s and the 4wd with 20s have the same size tires? If you put the leveling kit on the 2wd does it sit as high as the 4wd?

I believe that they do, I am almost positive that they do. I didn't buy a 4wd because of the added maintanance required and the fact that I would never use it.
