Anyone changed from stock 1500 mirrors to tow mirrors?
I hate the huge blind spots in the stock 1500 mirrors and have been thinking about changing to the 2500+ towing mirrors. Are the direct fit on an 07 QC?? Are they worth the $$$ ?? I looked on Ebay and found many of them, all $200-275 for power/heated.
Thanks

slapshot12, I have been looking into the same thing and have found about what you did a few months back. I am planning a vacation soon and this will spark my **** to do more research as I will be towing.
I'll post what I find. I have a local mopar/Dodge mechanic as a friend so labor won't be included.

The big tow mirriors really are useless, Dodge should have put round convex mirriors at the bottom where the 6x9 mirrors fold in, I built up the bottom with foam tape so I could stick on medium sixe convex mirriors, no blind spots and when I'm backing up off road, I can see obsticals that could dmage the lower rockers.

I just indtalled a set on my truck today, they are very easy to install. But they are very expensive about 500.00cdn each so if you could get used ones you will save a tonof cash. Mineram isan 2005, themirrors are from an 07 everthing is the same.
