walmart sells a nifty device that conects to a garden hose. it interlines with a radiator hose, and you can flush it very efficiently with pressure that way. i used one on my last vehicle and it worked pretty good. after i removed all of the coolant i opened the outlet on the radiator and let it flush for several minutes. then i ran prestone radiator flush and flushed again with the hose for several minutes. water came out very clear after the whole process. i think prestone makes the flush kit im refering to.

thanks for the response. So is it safe not to take the bolts out of the block? Those seem like a real b***h to take off.

Please be careful with the coolant you may spill on the ground! If you have animals, PLEASE don't let them drink it!!!!! I've used the coolant flush many times, but I'm hyper-super-mega careful to protect my furry friends.

First thing came to mind. Normally my pups are out with me in front yard but not the day I did the flush.
