I just put all new tires on my truck $170 for 1. The stock good year 275/60R20. I reaaly think it becuase of the tires there just way to big and wide to break em loose. Everyones has got to see them off the truck, THEY GROW.

OldMoparMan, You are right about the damage done to the vehicle. I don't think that my desire to do spin the tires is to do it all the time, I was just more aggrivated that most every other dodge is doing it with the hemi, and mine isn't. I quit trying to make it do it after a while and now I am just asking if anyone else couln't spin and if they figured out why. I probably wouldn't spin them anyways if I could considering the price of them. My tire dealer would really love me then. Thank you for the concern though.
It wasn't concern, so much as just bustin on ya... I love to hear those dogs bark once and a while too, I just hate paying the price to play......

I've already wasted a set of new tires in 2 weeks, back in my cruising days.

could be you have different gears than the others. also, the 17's are alot easier to break loose. i think the stock 17's are 245's vs a 275 20 inch tire. I dont have a problem spinning my tires on the stock good year crap. I have limited slip. do you have psitrac by any chance?

No, no posi. Just the standard 3.92's that come on the Daytonas. After working with mostly muscle cars, it is hard to adjust to the fact that 3.92's don't do much for a truck, especially with 32"-33" tires. I could only imagine what 3.92's would have done for some of my cars, like the ws6. Whole different ball game now.

yeah, i feel the same way. I'm going to go with 4.56 sooner or later. Will probably kill my gas mileage, but oh well.
