Cleaned the throttle body, wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. Didnt feel any difference in throttle response or acceleration. I guess I will just hope that in increases fuel economy. Also took apart the rear tail lights to figure out that damn random "Lamp Out" and ding...

Had him take me on some errands... Bought him half a tank of 93. That, mixed with the roughly half of 89, should take him to 91 for a week or so. May change the t-stat tomorrow. Taking that down to 180 kinda bothers me. He barely gets warmed up on the average morning before he's shut off for nine hours. Then twenty minutes home and shut off for fourteen hours or so. Seems not long enough to burn off the bad stuff. Anyone have some input on that?

Motorad 180 t-stat. Set the Flexa-lite to kick on when the gauge gets to 1/2. It really cools the reading down quickly. Will have to re-evaluate when the weather warms up again in April. May not have to change it. May set it to come on later in the cooler months so I can have some heat !

Some would say it doesn't get cold here. It is North Florida, after all. Still, it gets damn nippy, IMO. The norherners would say we never get below t-shirt weather. Don't know 'bout "big money"... $28 for the t-stat and thirty minutes work. Took him out on the interstate tonight: At "normal" interstate speed (80 mph), it was running well below the halfway mark (normal). Hope it'll keep me warm this winter! Well, I'll be! My 200th post!
