Brought my new baby home...

 

Looks great, love the black and chrome combo.

I just took 15 minutes and finally put in a set of Silver Star headlights. Now I can't wait for dark to see how much better they are then stock in the truck.

Much better than the stock ones, I have these in all my cars and love them. Now I just nees a set of factory fogs and maybe the ones behind the grill.

 

Well, My Lift came in the mail today. I am so pumped to get it installed on Monday morning. My tires are supposed to come in tom. So good day of not doing anything, but getting ready for the big day.

 

Wasn't 2day, but within the last couple weeks....

Got new tires on 285/75 on stock wheels and suspension (Toyo Open Country A/T)
Put on K&N 63-1533 Aircharger

 

Blue LED in dash so I can tell when the fan's on.

 

Took mine out for a drive this afternoon and it was so nice I decided to wash and dry her. I found a SuperChips 3815 unit on CraigsList for $240 and I am going to pick it tomorrow. The guy has to reset his truck beforeI get it and I am going to verify that it works before I give him the cash. I cant wait. He seemend to really like it he just needs tha cash for Christmas because heis not working right now.That should finish off my performance mods for a while.

I am looking at a tonnoue cover next. Found a couple of them on Craigs list as well. There is a Undercover for $350and another unnamed brand for$650 both in black just have to see if they are matched to my paint. Hope to locate one by the end of the month. I have heard that they increase the mileage as well. Any thoughts guys? Espically on the Undercover brand?

 

Installed the new SuperChips high performance upgrade and loved it. Came home tonight did an upgrade after setting up the unit to my truck. Increased the WOT Shift point to max and did my speedo upgrade to my large tire size.

Will let you know over the next few weeks how well it works for me. Right now I am very pleased.

I did notice my service 4WD light comes on for about 10 minutes after initial programming. Once it goes out it stays out.

Any thoughts on this?

Perhaps it is designed to stay on til the computer relearns the drivers settings again?

Just replaced my factory headlight bulbs with Silverstars and I swear to God, I have a 5 horsepower gain! I did replace the bulbs today though. Looks great.

Those 285 Open Country A/T's look great on a Ram. Got them on mine.
