Nice choice in truck, love the long bed. This site will help you out. I think you will want 285/70R17.

RE: Help with tire size
I had 33x12.5x17 Mickey Thompson MTX's before I lifted and went to 35's. Very good tire, tread lasts forever. Perfect tire for a daily driver with occasional off road use. Also rated as one of the best AT tires for use in snow (if they got that stuff where you are). Had a lot of friends when I lived up north had them on their 2wd trucks and got through the heaviest snow with no problem. I had mine on for 29,000 miles and sold them for about half what I paid for them new as they had virtually ALL the original tread. Also fills the tire well up very nicely on a stock height RAM 1500.

2 problems - you can't use a 15" wheel, your brake calipers are too big, 17" is minimum size. And their is a problem with that add. I just double checked MT website and the MTX maximum size is 33" (which is perfect for you anyway.
And you cannot clear 35's without a lift, 33" is your max.
