I don't see anything about a warranty is my only concern. They seem ok though. Install isnt hard, if you can get your hands on a spring depressor it will make it even easier, but its not necessary...
the tool loaner program at the auto parts store is a wonderful thing...i rented a spring compressor from Advance Auto in town when i lowered my truck...cost me $50 to rent the tool for as long as i needed it and then i got all my money back when i returned it......so i would say go for it and then post some pics after you get everything done

i just installed a leveling kit on my ram 2500... i would reccomend going to http://www.marketworks.com/storefron...amp;i=90226576

it is the best deal i could find but then i got it used off a buddy on another forum... it wasnt a hard install maybe an hour to an hour and a half i would reccomend using the spring compressor though... its definitely worth while... be careful with your sway bar links they will snap easy if you try to take them off carelessly... let me know if you have any questions about this kit....

My local dealer actually sells and installs Tuff Country parts, cost me $120.00 US to have them install the leveling kit which brings the front end up 2" (link: http://www.tuffcountry.com/dodge-ram-leveling-kits.html). They did this with an alignment, and because the dealer did it I don't have to worry about warranty crap if something goes wrong. At that price (was some sort of special they had going on) It was worth not fighting the springs, but as others have said if you do a rent-a-tool it's not too hard of a job (have helped a buddy do his truck in about 2 hours). I may not have needed to do the Bilstien shocks, but can definately say they were worth it. I got the ones for 2 - 3" lifts to give a little more travel and it works great....

I guess you could check with your dealership if your worried about warranty, but those are pretty tame in comparrison with other lifts and shouldn't cause any grief. Dont forget, you'll want to have them update your computer for tire size unless you don't mind your speedo being off...(or unless you've got a programmer)..

The spacers you found on E*Bay seem about the same as most of 'em including the ones I got..Let us know what you end up doing on the tire setup, interested...

Thks everyone for your advice, it will be another 3 to 5 weeks before I get my truck in my driveway, so by then I should have a bit of addons waiting impatiently in the garage to be fitted on this long awaited truck. I'll let you know what I decided for the tires and the leveling kit, and for sure i'll post some pics. [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

On the stock 2500 Ram, the 17 in rims and tires stick out of the fender wells, the BFG have come close to stripping the lower rockers clean of paint, even with mud flaps.

Fender flars is a must do...

Well, I have made my decision, The Mickey thompson and dick cepek tires were more expensive than the toyo's, so I ordered the Toyo Open Country AT tires (LT305 55 R20 E)
Also Ordered Fender Flares that exceeds the truck by 2.5 inches, should protect the truck from the oversized wheels. Also ordered a 2.5 inch leveling kit from rough country.

Can't wait to receive my gear, especially the truck>>>
Will post pics when all is done.
