I have a 2005 ram with a 4.7 and i also have aquired a 2005 ram with a hemi entire truck that was totaled but divereain, engine everytinng thats goes with it hase LOW miles. So my question does anyone know how dificult and procedures to convert my truck to that hemi???

 

Other then a near complete teardown of the truck.... Nope... You will essentially need to gut the engine compartment and dashboard area. The rest is easy... well easier... The computer will need to be swapped and the wiring re-run.... the engine and trany will be a pull and swap... should take about 3 hours.... the longest part is rewiring everything... (hoses, vacuum lines, wires, ect.) I'd suggest a teardown book from the auto store so you are certain to connect everything correctly.... All in all a good weekends worth of work... if you know exactily when your doing...and have proper equiptment... That is what my friend had to do when he swapped his 5.2 for the Hemi, but his truck is a tad bit older...if the cab was serously damaged then I would really check all electrical componants.... it may be a mechanical engine...but it will never run without a working computer.... that is just my .02... It is a LOT of work... and most people will tell you to buy a truck with a hemi in it already. Also if your truck has the 7,70 power warranty...well that will be voided... Although you do have a good deal if you can swap them out...

 

It will be a straight swap, albeit a VERY involved and time consuming straight swap.
