Default Time for some mods

Ok, I'm gonna start adding mods to the truck. First off I want to get a Soft Tonneau Cover, What is your recommendation on Brands and styles to get. I was thinking on getting a low profile one, only beacause I don't want to get rid of the Tail gate cap spoiler thing. Second I wanted to add Roof Marker lights. If any one has done this I would love to see step by step pics if you happen to have them. I'm not too crazy about drilling through the roof, but Hey, you gotta do what ya gotta do....Any help will be greatly appriciated..

Hammer has done the light mod on his truck. He has a thread here with a step by step pics (at least I think the pics were step by step).

I just ordered on from www.4wheelonline.com they have a very good selection of covers and at a good price. Most come with free shipping and handling.

I got mine from got-chrome on Ebay. I like the way it rolls up. I had an old snap on cover on my Dakota. Every time I had to take it off, I had fold it and put it in the cab.

Naw, no step by step, I was going to, but was fighting against time as thunderboomers were popping around all afternoon and I have no covered place to do it. Was gonna get Pappy to help and take pics, but he was out of town working.

It's not hard. If you are really worried about it, get the Mopar kit, it has a template. I just liked the Recons better. Just measure really well, I used the rain channel on each side to go from. Mark w/ crayon , lay them out and get back and look. I probably re-measured about 5 times before drilling. The actual installation process is a breeze, and there IS a wiring harness in the passenger pillar. Just use a meter to see the wire that is hot only when you flick the running lights on and then just tap into it. Took me like two and a half hours, but the first hour or so was procrastinating about drilling and measuring over and over. I'd bet it's about an hour and a half job with the template.
If you got the Mopar for the template and decided later you want the clear or smoke Recons, you can always order them and switch. They are brand specific, so the lights will fit. Just screw out the Mopars and screw in the Recons. No re-drilling or re-wiring. They are only like $69 online, so it's not a biggy to change to them later. Either that or get both, use the template from the Mopar, install the Recons and then e-bay the Mopar ones. I considered it, just to have the template, but figured what the hell, I've used bondo before (not on this truck!) and it is way up on the roof.
It's also possible someone on one of the forums has purchased the Mopar one and kept the template (I should have thought of that when I did mine, oh well).
