steering stabilizer
When would a steering stabilizer be recommended , as my previous post I'm installing 33 inchers on my truck, would the stabilizer change anything or a waste for 33's

If you have a1500 Ram truck, 2002 and newer, they have rack and pinion steering.
Steering stabilizers are only used on worm-gear steering boxes, that I know of.
The only steering stabilzers I've seen available for the Ram is for 2500 series and up, or 2001 and older Ram 1500's or 1/2 ton trucks that have worm gear type boxes.

The factory stabilizer is okay, and probably not critical to replace with 33's. I went with a dual stabilizer kit, mostly because of a buddy at a local 4X4 shop (gave it to me at the price of a single). Here's an example link: http://www.autoanything.com/suspensi...A2606A0A0.aspx . I put the metric equal to 34" tires on, and can say that after doing the kit the steering feels a bit firmer and little bumps on the highway that before would sorta jerk the stering wheel are smooth as glass....So was it worth it, ya I like mine, would I have spent the money on that versus something else I really wanted, probably not right away...just my $0.02 worth..
