I know what you are talking about man, I had a s12l7 kicker in a box on my back seat for over a year.

Now for hopefully some help.

Q: You had a few questions about matching up airspace, but you didn't have any paperwork on the MTX thunderform box, right?
A:Just go the the MTX website and look up the airspace there.
A: Any sub you buy will have the airspace required for that particular sub to reach it maximum potential posted on the box...or in the owners manual of that sub....airspace must be the same.... or the airspace of the box should be slightly larger for best sound.

A little side note on sub systems....everyone has their preference, and mine is Kicker. They sound great and run alot of subwoofer specials.....look them up online. The just had a 2 for 1 deal on their CVR subwoofers. I got 2 10" Kicker CVR's for $130. This beat thepriceof any I could find on ebay (new and same model)! I did, however, get my kicker zx750.1 amp and custom 2 10" box on ebay...and shipped for way cheaper than the local shops....with squaretrade warantee for only $20.

Hope I was able to help.

I'd have to agree with you on the Kickers... I have 2 cvx12's in my regular cab (pics in gallery) and I have been told by many many people that they are the best sounding subs they have ever heard!!!
