who has ever heard of s and b intakes... are they a good product?

i am gettin an intake soon and i was leaning towards a true flow but im curious if these are any good?

man, loks like it sucks to me. wont that just run into the stock "warmer box" on the front of the tb, if so, thats not cai.

 

idn it was an interesting design and filters well idn about performance...

 

Looks like a more expensive K&N knock off CAI.

 

I am currently running one now, I did some research and the S&B claimed it could gain up to 18hp where as all the others the largest gain they claimed would be 12hp. It is basically the same design as the K&N and the factory Mopar and I do notice the truck has more pep and even the exhaust note seems louder with the intake. Got mine from http://www.rpmoutlet.com, they also have all the other available intakes if you want to compare them. Also I don't know about how the hemi one looks because mine is a 4.7 but the tube runs from the box all the way to my TB and the original boxes get discarded.

 

Sharx has a S & B intake on his truck and Triton did for a while too. I was looking into intakes for a while and that's what I would buy. I just don't have enough mods to make use of an intake, so i never bought it.
