I have stumbled accross a 99 v10 dropout with wiring harness and computer.
I am wanting to put it in a 04 1500 ram that currently has a v6.
Anyone ever done this swap that could give me some ideas on the challenges ahead.

No offense, but this has been touched before with a 120' pole in the V6 section. Just to give you the jist (HAHAHA I SAID JIST) of it, it will take you replacing the propeller draft, probably your carrier and gears, transmission, mounts. Look into it in the V6 section or do a search with the search tool. I will cost you, but it can be done.

 

it'd be more cost effective and save alot of headaches just to buy a truck with the v-10 (SRT).....save yourself the headache
