I ordered an AFE because I hate oiling filters. They have a dry flow version.

Unless you plan on going true duals, stay away from the 40 series. Flowmaster has designed the 50 series for the Hemi. The 40 series sounds great, but has 2 much back pressure and you will lose HP with the set up. With the true dual set up, you can run 2 of the 40 series mufflers and be ok. If you plan on running the single muffler with 2 out, then you will need the 50. You can also look at the AT3030 as mentioned above.

i agreee with the peddler people are prolly sick of me and me reccomending magnaflow but i have it and love it and reccomend it to everyone as for intakes i am personally going with a true flow i have heard great things about them
I feel you, dawg. I have been pushing Magnaflow, too. Hey, it doesn't hurt to suggest. That's what everyone is looking for, when they post a question. Everyone's gonna do what they want and/or can afford, anyway. Don't hesitate to offer your opinion...unless you work for Magnaflow. That would just be obnoxious [:'(].

Thanks. I'm still trying to decide what cai I want. I was thinking K&N at first, I have always had good luck with there replacement filters in other cars. But this dry AEM sounds good and plus I think I read it the same as the Mopar intake.
I've been told...don't know if there's any validity to it, though..., that you should go with a non-metal based intake. Metal retains heat more than plastic and/or nylon based products. So, based on that theory, the AEM/ Mopar intake that I have is not cooling the air as efficiently as say a K&N or Volant intake would. I have had no issues with my Mopar CAI, though. Just something else to ponder.
