Default Hard Tonneau Covers

I'm considering putting a hard tonneau cover on my 04 RAM QC Hemi. If you have a hard tonneau cover on your RAM, could you tell me...

(1) Which cover do you have? (ARE, Leer, Undercover, Etc.)
(2) Do you like the cover?
(3) About how much did you pay for the cover?

Thanks!

Mike

Hey Mike.

1. I've got a Paragon cover. It folds like an accordion, weighs like 70#, is powder coated, doesn't make any noise, gives the truck the NASCAR truck look because it's low profile.
2. YES.
3. It seems that it was between 300-400 dollars delivered. My wifw and I put it on in about 2 hours.

You can see it in the DF gallery.

MY 04 SHORT BOX HAS A LO RIDER FIBERGLASS COVER. IT HELPS I BELIEVE, WITH GAS MILEAGE AND LOOKS REALLY GOOD TOO.
ITS COST THOUGH IM NOT SURE ABOUT,I ADDED IT AT THE DEALER BEFORE I TOOK DELIVERY AND I JUST DONT REMEMBER.IT DEPENDS THOUGH ON WHETHER YOURE GOING TO HAUL LG ITEMS IN YOUR TRUCK OR NOT THOUGH AS A SLIDER STYLE MAY BE BETTER FOR YOU.
I DONT HAUL MUCH IN THE BOX THOUGH SO IT WORKS FOR ME.
GOOD LUCK!!

Well that is a good point... I do haul large stuff in my truck more often than most. I was leaning towards something that would be easy to remove or light like the UnderCover top or one of the fold up covers. However, I really would like it to be painted the same color as the truck (Molten Red).

Thanks for your feedback.

Mike

Is this cover leak proof?

I have the Undercover, about $625 delivered from Truck Expressions (10% discount link on this site).

I like it, it has a texture similar to my Line-X over the rail. Nothing has gotten wet in the bed. It locks the tailgate. I can stand on to wash he top. Weighs only 57 +/- pounds. Easy install, easy to remove. I like it.

It does have a small amount of water come in during hard rains. I usually keep anything that needs to stay dry in a rubbermaid container.

The biggest selling points for me were that it folded out of the way so I could use the bed for hauling. It was light wait so I wasn't slowing down the HEMI with unwanted weight, and it sits only about an inch above the bed.
