Are discounts gone with the new lifetime warranty?
Yea, I took my mother up for a leftover '07 Grand Caravan monday. Rebate was $4500, loyalty rebate was $1000 more, then the dealer took another $3500 off list. That was $9000 off list!!! She coulda' got a loaded '07 with a sticker of over $31k for a little over $22k!
Everything was great, until we were pulling in from the test drive to see the BIG truck delivering the first two re-designed '08's.Which she fell in love with immediatly!
Still got a good deal though, about $1500 under invoice (or about $3500 off sticker) plus the $1000 loyalty rebate. I gotta admit though, the '08 is lots nicer than the '07's. New 4.0 V6 270+ HP kicks *** for a minivan and the interior is georgious!

Bought my '07at the end of July, got $6K rebate +$5.7K discount ($11.7K total discount) on a $32.3K MSRP. At the end of August, the best I saw from the dealer I bought from wasover $12K off of an '07 QC Big Horn Hemi with an MSRP ofabout $33K. Other dealers have discounts on similar trucksin the $9K-$11K range.
Also saw an ad for $7K off of an '08 QC Hemi (ad said the discount includes a $3500 rebate).
So the discounts are still rampant in the Southern California area, even after the lifetime warranty was initiated two months ago.
For me, the lifetime warranty was the clincher. Been shopping for a QC Hemi since like Feb or March, it was because of the lifetime warranty thatI got serious. That and my wife got sosick of me staring at Dodge ads and hemming and hawing for six months that one Sunday she basically said, "Stop it! Let's just go to the damn dealership!". So we did. Gotta love her.

i got mine last month with the employee choice price (about $5000 off). the sticker was $35,060 and with the EC discount and the $6000 rebate i paid $24,1** for an '07 QC thunder road 4.7 4x4 with lifetime warranty. it sounds like some of you are getting better deals than i did with the EC program.
Just bought an 07 QC 1500 4x4 Big Horn Hemi. Factory sticker (no second sticker) was 39,2xx and I paid 28,2xx and that included the dealer installed Rhino liner. The dealer was having Employee pricing plus the factory discounts.
If you dealerships near you are not offering employee pricing, go through Costco if they have them inyour area. The Costco auto program dictates the prices for participating dealers. Do it online, and someone will contact you. The Costco discounts are good. End up being about $4k off and the dealer is not allowed to add second sticker or "Market Adjustment". That coupled with the current factory rebates of $6000, brings down the price quite a bit.

Bought mine a month ago and got the Lifetime Powertrain, $5000.oo from Dodge, and another $5500 off. Sticker was $39,850 and they gave me $17,500 for my old truck (03 XLT Supercrew) that Chevy, Ford and GMC would only kick in about $14,500. Could have gotten a better deal, but they had to pick it up in New Jersey and gave some lame sob-story about splitting the holdback...I was happy with the deal though.
