Default suspension ideas

i am researching lift kits, and came across kore. i know that youre thinking, "he hasnt heard of Kore?" well, get over it. so question is what is the better idea, get lift kit from skyjacker, rough country, etc. get a replacement suspension from kore, or comparable, or do more research and buy all the parts to do a suspension job myself. also with this in mind, woud it be better to do a solid front axle swap of leave it with the ifs??

any feedback will be appreciated. thx alot.

how big of lift are you going with? I wouldnt bother taking your IFS out if your not going extremely huge and massive off-roading....

i would like it to look good, but that doesnt necessarily mean the suspension look good. also i would like it to be functional, and i would lke about ~4" of lift or so, doesnt need to be real tall, but enough to go through about 2 feet of mud without getting all over the top of the front diferential. also, not really big tires either. 35 at most. i really want performance out of it, but the price of the kore systems is really high, and i dont want to have to cut and weld alot either.
