Default cool headlights

Saw a black ram earlier tonight with really bright blue headlights in the stock housing. without spending $200+ on a xenon kit...do those $12 HID bulbs sold at like pep boys have the same effect??

yes and no. While replacing the bulb will give you the same visual appearance, the result of a brighter, clearer, whiter image will not be the same as a true HID assembly.

even just the blue look was cool enough for me as long as its just as bright lol. I got my KC daylighters for needing bright lights. those things are awesome. probly one of the best investments on my truck so far.

I have thought about getting the Westin front bar with the twin off road lights but not sure if it would look right... Still debating. It is nice being able to see at night though! What wattage are yours? Its pretty cool you got them in the grill....

I have had the Nokya blue bulbs in my truck for about two and a half years and they are really blue and I get tons of compliments!!! They aren't as bright as stock though but it wasn't too much of a difference, I dont mind it...

I'd stay away from Euro Diseignz... I had them in my 2nd gen, they had the cool blue effect to them when looking at them, but the shined really white on the road and made it almost impossible to see the white lines painted on the road at night....
