I rec you get yourself a power polisher, one of those things that looks like an angle grinder. That's the only way I've found to get a freaky shiny finish. For products, I like 3M. Use Finesse It to get a smooth finish then I like to put down a synthetic wax, buff it shiny, then a conventional wax. Gives a really deep finish. For scratches you might need a fine cut or maybe medium cut compound. Good thing about black is that it's easy to match if you need to do some touch up. If you're going to touch up, make sure you apply the touch up two weeks before doing all of the above polishing. Don't worry, it's easy and looks great.

thanks for all the help guys. Haha I don't know much about it other than i've taken wax and my buffer and buffed out scratches that keep coming back like I said with just 1 day of rain. Anyways - i'll take the helpful advise and go out there and take care of it. Maybe get some before and after pics.

Bring it to a professional for advice. No offense, we were all there once, if you don't know what Krylon is then youwill grab a rotary buffer and burn thru your paint. A straight up rotary buffer will burn right down to the primer if you don't know what you are doing. Evaluate the scratch. Can you catch it on your fingernail? Too deep to fix easily with any chem product like Scratch-x, etc. Seek a pro, hell, I would. By the way, your headlights would look awesome painted too match.

Black-out my headlights? I've seen the black out lights but I actually like my stripped lights and how clear and clean it looks. i think it looks sweet. As for the advice, I think I will take it in to someone who knows more than I do and definitely just hand it over to them to help clean it up.
