Default 07 1500 QC 17" rims backspacing....
Is it 4.5"?! I'm looking at a rough country Spindle lift, but it says minimum backspacing is 4.5". Am I within specs?

the best way to find out is to take a tire off lay it flat on the gound facing up,no center cap an measure from ground up to center of wheel,may have to let the air out so the rim touches the ground

But no one actually KNOWS what the spacing is? come on folks, someone has to know.

I take my stock rims off by day 2 of ownership of a new truck, so I have no clue on stock wheel specs.

I did call the parts department. They don't know their ******* from an elbow.
