Default 4.7 Air Intake

Hello everyone. I’m new to DF and I have a question. I want to buy a air intake for my 2002 QC 4.7 Ram. Any suggestions on what brand? I have few in mind. Here is one tell me what you think http://www.autoanything.com/products...roductInfoTabs . How good is AFE? I have a budget around 300 bucks. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome, I went with a true flow system and I like it a lot, cannot say I feel much difference but I like the sound and it did give it a little better throttle response.

Check EBay, they have a ton of them for the 4.7. I personally like my Airaid intake.

I never hear anyone talk about AFE....sorry. I can tell you that I have a 2002 4.7 also and love my intake. Check out my intake in my gallery.

I have a K&N for sale. Only had it on truck for a short time. Didn't like the sound. You can e-mail me for more details. $150.00. New it cost me over $300.00.

Old thread, but thought I would share. I got an AFE Stage 2 for my 4.7, and installed, it blocks all access to the oil dipstick. It's going back.

I can't speak for your 4.7 -however I'm using the AFE High Breather on my 5.7 and I'm very pleased. All the +'s without the ridiculous and annoyingnoise.

You can find them cheaper too!!!

Volant makes great systems. They are built real well, look great under the hood and have a hookup for a future Ram Air install. And by the way are cheaper than the K&N FIPK II. www.volant.com
