Default spark plugs

I have a 2005 ram quadcab 4.7 with a little over 40,000 miles. I'm going to change the spark plugs this weekend since I'm over about 10,000 miles plus my truck is idling bad. Is there any plugs that need to be changed as well. Or do just need to buy the spark plugs and thats it? And what type of plugs should I purchase?

NGK are stock for the 3.7. I went with Champions and gapped at .045 . . . I think. I think the NGK said gap at .040. Anyway when I removed the OEM NGK and measured the gap some were .055.

ALL I KNOW IS THAT MY MPG HAVE GONE DOWN AFTER THE TUNE UP, WHY?
