need new tires need help on deciding.
well i need new tires for my truck i had bought some 17" dodge rims and i want 285/70/R17 all terrain tires. i was thinkin of bfg all terrain but im not sure if i should go with those because everyone has them i want some thing different but not so different it emptys my wallet right out. could any one help me and tell me how you like your all terrains and what you think i should get.
also i go through alot of snow and mud so i need a tire good for that.

well dennis i to like to be different so i whent with mikey thompson baja claws 33x1250/17 an i love them.them are wearing great ride awsome,alittle noise to them but the radio drowns it right out,and at $188. apeice wont put to big of a dent in your pocket.

Yup, I have to agree with Hanson [:@]. My last 4 sets of tires spanning 3 trucks have been either Mickey Thompson's or Dick Cepek's (and MT owns DC). Might I suggest Mickey ATZ's in an AT or MTZ's in a MT. Baja Claws for extreme off-roading. I chose the Dick Cepek Fun Country II's. They are marketed as a cross between an A/T and M/T, which is about right. Very good off road while not too noisy and handle great on pavement. They all seem to wear like iron.

I must say, i love them, very quiet and a great ride. Did very well off road in the creek and in the mud and rocks as i get ready for deer season. Can't wait to try them in the snow. Great ride on the highway at 80+ and don't look bad at all on the truck.
