I have a 4.7l quad cad 4x4. It has exhaust, cool air, superchips. I just last week got 4.56 gears. Will I be able to put 37in tires on this and still have descent driving power?

Not unless u raise it. I fit 35" tires with a bit of rubbing on mine when i leveled it out. I think the 37" will not work!!!!

The power i'm sure will be fine since you got new gears... The problem i'm forseeing in this is if you have the IFS. 37" tires are probably going to be way to much stress and you'll end up damaging suspension components...

Yeah I have the independent front. What kind of signs of wear and tear or damage should I look for? I am keeping my 35s so I can always slap them back on. I never off road, and the truck is driven very soft.

I dun see any reason why not. With the gear change, u may not even notice any loss!!!!!! I would suggest a set of headers whenever u can afford them. They woke my 04 4.7 up when i had it

if you never off road why do you want 37's and put additional stress on your motor?

Any damage with anything up front basically, anything you can think of. Ball joints, trac bar, torsion bars, cv joints, wriggle everything regularly and make sure nothing gets loose. The IFS system really isnt designed for that big of tires, that would be more of a solid front axel setup.
