When AMSOIL starts making the 15,000 mile 5w20 I will use it. Until then I will use Mobil 1 Extended Life. Plus I can not buy AMSOIL local.

AMSOIL all the way I wish my local auto parts still carried AMSOIL.

My local parts place told me most customers don't want to pay the price for AMSOIL thats why they stopped carrying it.

to flush the entire system you will need about 5 gallons of fluid.

remove the tranny cooler line FROM the cooler and let hang into a 5 gallon bucket. crank the engine and place transmission in neutral then begin to slowly pour the new fluid down the dipstick at the same rate it is comeing from the cooler line.

when the fluid turns bright red stop engine and hook line back to tranny. top tranny off and your good.

this process is expensive since you need about 5 gallons of ATF to do it. you are just better off dumping what is in the pan, changing the filters, and adding new back.

to adjust the bands there is an adjustment outside the trans, and one inside. I am not sure of thier exact location.

You should have the same tranny 48re
