I need help
I have a 02 RAM Q/C with 4.7 Has 97,000 miles on it, I bought it with 94,000 on it. I have been having a problem recently. The truck jerks when I'm slowing down, I think when its downshifting. It doesn't do it all the time, but in the last few days it has become more frequent. I had the trans fluid changed about 1,000 miles ago. I am having no other problems. What could possibly be wrong?
I have afriend had a problem like yours in the past first I would make sure that all grounds are in tip top shape! Then believe it or not check to make sure that the plug connections are tight and free of any corrosion. also check the connection to the crank position sensor.
Justin - are there any EGR system on it ?? if yes tjek the vackum hoses and take of the EGR and tjek all the passages. tjek the vackum
EGR works by recirculating a portion of an engine's exhaust gas back to the engine, when you let go of your speeder! and that can make soot, carbon in the hoses and pipes.
if it cant get what it need it starts to jerks
