I might be wrong, but i thought we couldn't use platinum spark plugs in our trucks?
I heard the same thing, I just installed the regular autolites on my truck and it runs great. Combined with the new magnaflow muffler and a new air filter im getting almost 1 mpg better than I was before

does your oxygen sensor work ?? messure 0 - 1 volt. when hot and idle,it has to go op and down in the volt
100mv is lean 900mv is fat mix. if it goes from 100 - to 900 and back again constantly its fine.

just take off the plug and try between the wires you can´t ruined it.

sorry my English i´m from Denmark.

lay down and look under your car.
on the exhaust after the catalysator there is a littel plug with a wire on it. oxygen sensor!

don´t throw them in his face before you know it´s the spark plugs!

Tommy,

If the O2 sensor was out of range, or held at too high/low of range for too long of time, defective or faulty, a code would be set.........

you are right but sometimes you can´t depend on it. i have foundsome faults that was suppose to set codes but dident. but not on Dodge it´s my first.
but this is probably the sparks as others was talking about.

To be honest, I did get a code when I started the car after the tune up. It was thisone P0113 = IAT Sensor 1 Circuit High Input.

I just thought that since I had unplugged stuff without disconnecting the battery, that I all I needed was to reset the computer. After I resetted, incorrectly (I disconnected the positive for 30 seconds), the light went off when I restarted the truck. I dont feel any hesitation (other than the normal for a V6). Its normal, no stutters, jerks or "feels" like it wants to shut off.

I am in agreement with OldMorparMan and HorseApples.

Somethingelse to consider:
Did you switch gas recently?
What brand of gas are/were you using? Is it 100% gas or does it contain ethanol?

Look at it this way you now have a life time supply of spark plugs for your lawn mower (if they fit)

P.S. Parts guys sometimes get told "Hey Move these items" to make room for new stock ornew products.
