the code is to high intake temp voltage
if there is somthing wrong with the intake temp sensor the computer might lock on a emergency program, ore it thinks its cold - then it might mix too much gas in ???
try to test the temp sensor .

what is your engine, car and year i might find the data over it in my manual.

Magnum V6 3.7L 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab with the Getrag 23something something manual transmission with 32,000 miles. I use the best only . . . 87 octane wherever its cheaper the gallon, mostly Chevron with Techron.

I will try to test temp. Thanks for the suggestions. The thing is, it has been a month and I have not seen the code come up again. If it was messed up, it would have lit up.

i can´t find what to messure on it but it is installed on the left side of the intake manifold plenium.
2 wire
DESCRIPTION
The 2–wire Intake Manifold Air Temperature (IAT)
sensor is installed in the intake manifold with the
sensor element extending into the air stream.
The IAT sensor is a two-wire Negative Thermal
Coefficient (NTC) sensor. Meaning, as intake manifold
temperature increases, resistance (voltage) in the
sensor decreases. As temperature decreases, resistance
(voltage) in the sensor increases.
(1) Check condition of sensor o-ring.
(2) Clean sensor mounting hole in intake manifold.
(3) Position sensor into intake manifold and rotate
clockwise until past release tab
(4) Install electrical connector.
thats what it sayes.

Thanks OldMopar. I wish it would be the overhead, but my ST does not have that. Everytime I got my mpg was with a pen and paper. I used to get 15.5mpg with 20's, I used to get 17.5 with 17's, now I am closer to 13mpg.
Before I did the tune up with my new intake, I was getting close to 17 mpg. So this gets me thinking some'ing aint right.

(I aint talking to you OldMopar in the following)
PLEASE, I dont need an asswipe telling me "WOW, MY HEMI GETS ME 18MPG". We know you read your overhead well and that I have a V6 on quad, which sucks, but I dont need to be reminded every freaking post. SO PLEASE, keep your hemi mpg on other posts. . .
you didnt mention an intake in your original post... can you clarify this?

Can you tell me what new parts were put in your truck eltupac? Specifically, what plugs did you put in,what gap setting? Did you get a new O2 sensor? If so, what's the part number on that? Do you have the old one? I'm thinkingit's your O2 sensor or MAF. What else did they do for you?
