Newbie here.............I pick up my 2006 Mega Cab 4x4 tomorrow...pretty excited.....it has the "Southern Comfort" package which includes a 5" Pro Comp lift and 35x13.50-20 Pro Comp tires. I have a few things I want to do right away....and have some questions.

1. What is the largest tire I can fit on this truck? I would like atleast a 37x13.50-? (might get a smaller diameter wheel) I light the beefer tire look.
2. I want the grill to be black, to match the truck, where can I get one of these?? Or do I have to go get it painted?
3. Do I need to change the gearing if I step up to a larger tire?? If so, what do you guys recommend?

I am selling my H2 and buying this, I need a truck far too often.....some think I am crazy.....what do you Mega Cab owners think???

Congrats on the truck. You getting the Hemi or the Cummins? You should lightly smoke the front lights or get covers that would be sweet on that beast.

you can get the black grille...try looking on ebay for the Sport grille or could call the dealer (pricey but least you'll get exactly what you want) but i would look on ebay first....i would throw in a set of new gears if you want to go to a 37" tire, i'd look at a set of 4.56 gears for sure....

and that truck would look great de-badged....

 

Sweet ride man!!!! FOr the grill your best bet would try to find one someone is selling off a sport (ebay, craigslist) if not get one on ebay and paint it. Actually here I did a lil searching and found one on ebay for $19, you'd just have to get it painted if you wanted it to match your trucks paint...
