Default SHOCK ABSORBER CHOICES?

OK, here goes. In addition to a new battery, i also need new shocks. Initially i was planning on going with Bilsteins, but the shop i'm going to only has Monroes and Rancho's in stock...So i want your honest opinion on choosing.
Believe it or not, both of the shocks that i'm looking at, cost the same, even though the Rancho's look more agressive,(orange boot) that doesn't mean they are the best.

Hey man, the RANCHO 5000's will be a much stiffer ride. If you do allot of just street driving I would go with the Monroe's for sure. Thats my 2 cents

Good luck!!

Irecall rightMonroe and Rancho or was it Gabrial and Rancho's Is the same company Rancho Sold out some thing like 5 or 7 or more years ago to them back in the day they were a better made shock back then as what they put in there shock not so much putting in the higher end stuff in there shocks as beforeit how many they can sell and how muchmoney they can milk out of you for a so so made shock and lift kits you'r paying for the name now a days.

You mite as well buy a shock like ProCrap it's a run of the mill shock with a nice looking sticker and shock boot put on it buy 3 get one free, and after 20000 to 30000 mile if you'r lucky you be buying new one once again.

I been told Rancho 9000 seires are a good shock but you pay the price for them Mite as well get the best BILSTIENS, I have ran Ranchos they were good at there time before thet sold out, but you can get better shock for the money.

I tryed KONI'S, KYB's, Gabrials, Rancho's and some other brand shocks from hot rod car's to full tilt tricked out 4X4 I can say Blistiens have been the best for the money, I even put them on my wifes Truck she even notice the diffrence the way the rode and handlingwas better for the get go.

I not a sales man but once you try bilstiens yoy will noy use anything else but bilsteins unless they don't make a shock for you car or truck, I need to find some good shocks for our Dodge Caravan so far I out of luck with Bilsteins so I have to look around.

Order Bilstiens you be glad you did there just hands down a better shock

The Rancho's - hands down. I have RS9000X's and they are without a doubt the best shocks I've ever had.
