hey everyone,
im new to the site but have owned many dodges and currently own a 2005 short bed standard cab. its 4wd and a hemi and not a day goes by that i dont love driving it. anyway to the point, some clown hit my driver door and due to unfortunate circumstances the insurance company wont pay for it. long story, bad luck. anyway does anyone know where i might be able to get a cheap used door.

Last time I needed parts like that I went to the junkyard found what I needed and just had it painted to match my old truck.

 

yea im in the same boat
a deer ran into the side of my truck last winter n its head put a big dent in the bottom of the door

 

check ebay, dodge clasifieds, junk yards....

 

thanks guys, no locals have a door for me but i'll just have to keep looking. plus a black one would be common i think so i may just hold out fora good match

 

Is it power windows?

 

yeah it has power windows but thats not a big deal if its not because i can just swap over all of my stuff. nothing internal was damaged

yeah deffinitly ebay, could also put in a part request with an auto salvage yard online...i've done that before and the site would send it to like 50 or 100 different salvage yards and they would reply to me if they had the part i was lookin for...might be worth a shot
