I have never been a fan of a sunroof that doesn't conceal itself within the roof when open, and by the link you attached if its a "panoramic" it is so large that when open it will have to be up and out. I don't care for that style.
But goodluck nonetheless

Had an old mechanic one time tell me, "If it doesn't come from the factory with a sunroof, don't add it, it will leak." Always went off that.

Dunno? I put in a sunroof over a period of two days in my 'blues brothers cop cah, my '74 Dodge Monaco'. My first Mopar.
I tookmy time, obviously-two days, followed directions after reading them three times at least. NEVER leaked!
However evey other after market has leaked on my or friends' vehicles. I think that the roof of the Monaco was so huge and flat that it was an advantage. I would not cut into a $30K+ truck these days. Not as young, cocky or confident. Last I knew, as of 2005, it was repainted and still had the sun roof I installed.
Do what you want but I don't think a shop would take this amount of time or careon a truck that wasn't their own.
