Default Mopar CAI

Anybody had the brackets break on their Mopar CAI??? I've had mine about 3 or 4 weeks and the bracket that attaches to the rubber vibration damper broke off clean at the 90 degree bend. Don't know if the bracket was defective or if the CAI is just moving around too much and the stress and vibration caused the failure. The Dodge dealer was cool and ordered me another one. If this one doesn't last then has anyone tried the CAI from Injen technologies?

Mine broke as well. I made a new bracket for it though much more solid than the original. You can tellthey didnt spend too much time in the heat when they bent it. True Mopar Junk!

Just got the new one yesterday and installed it last night. It fits better than the first, so I think the problem was the bracket was off a few degrees and it caused to much stress. With the vibrations and movements of the motor, it just gave out. Keep you informed on how the new one performs.

Here I go again! Guess this one is junk as well! It's been about 7 weeks since I installed the new one and the bracket just broke again this week! I guess I'll get a refund from the dealer and try a different brand. Anyone tried out the CAI from INJEN????

try the AEM...exact same looks and everything as the Mopar one, but not nearly close to any of the probelms...had mine for quite awhile now (7 month or about) and haven't had any problems yet
