Nope, read carefully it says fits 4 wheel drive 1500 model.
From what I understand, the 2500 is a PIA for headers. I know LT's are out for you, but maybe you can find some mid-lengths. I belive it's the solid front axle, because there are a lot of header options for 2500 4x2's. I almost bought a '04 2500 with Hemi when I was buying. It was actually less money than the 1500 Laramie I ended up buying. I was still married at the time and the ex loved the Laramie interior & leather w/suede seats. Bitch!!! Cause if I'd have gotten that 2500 with live axle up front, I'd have lifted the hell out of it and been riding on 40's by now!!! I'd gladly give up the headers to have 40" Super Swampers ...

Looks like mids are out too, can't find any for 2500 4x4. I found a few shorty's, most are over $750 a pair w/ceramic coating though, that's a lot of bucks for the modest gains you'd see out of shorty's. I found 1 set that's a little more economical and still coated. Here's a link:

Agreed, $535 was the cheapest I could find that would fit your 2500. Nobody even lists a mid tube that I could find. I just paid only $15 more than that for the LT's AND a custom ceramic coat!
The Hemi breathes fairly well stock and I just don't see where you could get enough gains from shorty's to justify the price. If you ever had a problem where you HAD to replace your exhaust manifold, then I'd prolly add the extra and get the headers, but I just can't see taking off a perfectly good manifold and paying that much money for the shorty's. Besides, if you're not going to do ALL the labor, then $535 is just the start. I did most of the work on mine and it still cost me $200 to have the cats tied back in. If you had the whole job done then you could probably at least double that.

Yea, I just made cuts just rearward of the cats and brought both pieces, from manifold to cat, to the muffler shop. That way they could cut where they needed to re-attach the cats behind the long tubes. I wasn't gonna try to weld under there without a lift. There is no way I was going to be able to see what I was doing on top of pipes, not to mention the hassle of trying to weld on my back on the ground. I just told the shop that I was gonna take of the manifolds to right after the cats, bolt on the headers, and bring them everything to tie the cats back in wherever they felt was best. They gave me a price of $200 cash (no tax) which I felt was fair, it was worth it just for me not to have to try to trace an exhaust leak. Told me they'd call if they couldn't find room for the cats or any other problems. They called about 2.5 hours later to tell me come pick it up.
