Is there a Mopar locking tailgate latch available for the Ram? If there is, is there a seperate key or is the regular truck key used? I'm planning on getting a toneau cover and am going to buy the locking gate from the same place if Mopar doesn't have one. I couldn't find anything on the website and well it's Saturday so I can't ask the dealer.

Pace Edwards makes a electric tailgate lock that wires directly into your doorlocks. It works well with keyless entry. It "J" clips into your electric door lock wires under the dash and runs a wire harness back to the tailgate. $80 and 30 mins later you have a locking tailgate.

 

Mopar does offer one and the key is different. You can probably source the Mopar lock form somewhere else without the Mopar name and save a couple bucks.
