Default simple, quick question

first post ever! wooo! lol

learned to drive on a dodge dakota almost 5 years ago and wanted a dodge ever since. finally got an 04 ram 1500 single cab, black, short bed, about 3 weeks ago and im in love.

my question though, my truck isn't a virgin as far as sound system goes, and theres a bunch of wiring stuck underneath the storage tray behind the seats connected to nothing. how do i get that thing out to remove these? lol.

maybe a dumb question, but i dont know this truck yet

first things first[sm=welcomesign.gif] to the forum..... now as far as your wiring problem you'll prolly just have to trace the wires.... see where they lead... prollly disconnect them somewhere..

i work at car toys so i had one of our installers take off the dash and nothing is running into the deck or to the speakers, there's just wires i can see through the bottom of that tray and when i pull on em they dont budge like their stuck on something. maybe a ground wire to the amp that was just cut or something and left there

your truck!! lol people around here love to see pics of your truck... believe me thats one of the first things i learned... the wire may very well be a ground considering how hard it is to move... the only way to truely find out is by tracing the wire even if you have to rip up the carpet

ill have the pics up within the next 15 mins.....

is there a way to remove that black storage tray behind the seats because it seems like it's bolted down somewhere underneath that tray. i unhooked the clips holding it onto the back of the cab but i cant figure out how to get the sides of it off
