Default RE: Diablo lost?

ORIGINAL: lewpuckett

as stated earlier I wanted to order one and after another delay I decided to order a superchips and be done with it. No complaints at all. very good product and company service.
I don't disagree with you at all. It is a good product and the "canned" tunes are fine if you have a relatively stock truck or just do a couple of mild mods. However, I am to the point where the "one tune fits all" tunes no longer fill my needs. I purchased this product, knowing that if I kept on my "modification schedule" I would be ata point where I would need a custom tune. I inquired as to the ability to have a custom tune on my Superchips in a short time and purchased the product based on the answer they gave me. I, for one, can't stand to be lied to for the sake of a sale, and it sticks in my craw!
Now, I understand from reading their own forum, that they are leaving the '07 guys hanging. The tuner does basically nothing for an '07, but their advertising leads you to believe you have the same features with their tuner as the '04-'06 owners do, which is far from the truth. They state on their forum that they are sorry but ALL resources are tied up getting their NEW product, THE CORTEX to market, and those with '07's will have to wait.
My opinion is that we have seen all that the Superchips Flashpac will offer as all new research & development will go into their new $600 tuner, THE CORTEX. And I don't believe current Superchips owners will have any upgrade path, meaning throw out or ebay your $500 tuner and buy the new $600 tuner. What a crock!!!
