yeah, had to drive to a dealer down in Indiana to get it so that was like $360 luckily they gave me employee price on it otherwise it was like $485.....but i have a pretty good feeling i'll be able to recoup my money...still gotta replace some emissions stuff and the gas gauge dont work right now either lol

Just went out side and checked it out my 2 piece drive shaft steel both front and rear.

I seen a brand new Dodge 4X4 3500 dully the other day it had a Alumunim rear drive shaft but it was shiny and new OOOOH, Thats why the driveshaft caught my eye.

If Dodge Knows about the drive shaft breaking why dont they stop putting them on there trucks, To my thats a saftey Thing someone mite get hurt.

We just retruned my wifes Dodge Mini Van we purchased 3 weeks ago for a air bag light they could not fix with other thing that were wrong with it, I not going to put mt family in danger because of Dodge. The dealer let us trade fora SUV instead for 1 year less payments but $10.00 more a month, and the selling price was $200.00 less than the Dodge Caravan.

 

If I was you I would go down to a local DrivelineShop and have them make my a steel driveshaft forget about the extra weight.

lets see walking because my truck has a drive shaft though the floor sure glad it did not go up my ????? or5 more pounds.
Or driving a safe truck with a steel driveshaft HUMMMM Lets think.

 

how thick is that shaft looks just like a coke can ....... so not only i got to worry about the damn c-clips now its the driveshaft aswell things just get better but its a hemi so i can live with it

 

yeah i'm gonna have a new driveshaft made anyways cause the stock one is just a touch too long since i lowered the truck so it'd be a good idear to have one made to length....havent done it yet cause been busy puttin money into other things but right now it's at the top of my list....but the truck is going in storage now until next spring so prolly have one made sometime this winter.....yeah the new driveshaft came with everything, just had to put it in....and the regular price on it is like $485 while employee price for me was $360 plus tax...
