Need Exhust Advice
Hello, Im looking for a complicated solution to a simple problem.
I'm bought a set of headders (Thorley Tri-Ys) that were ment for a 2003 Hemi. Which has a single cat, and the 2004 now comes with 2 Cats. I bought them from Summit who has them listed for 2004 also.
I'm now considering buying a Dynatech Power cat from Summit Racing an turning it to a Single Cat system. Wich will mach the 3" Gibson Mufler system Nicely.
My problem is what to do with the Two extra o2 Sensors:
Option 1: Buy some weld in o2 bongs and Put all 4 o2 Sensor on one Cat
or
Option 2: Give up my dream an return the hedders.
What do you guys think? have any of you removed any cats(For of road use)?
I really like the Idea of a Single 3" Cat Opening up my exhust to A true 3" system.
The really simple anwser is returning the Hedders.. :-(

RE: Need Exhust Advice
After Several ("Smart") People advised me against converting to a single Cat, I gave up and am returning the Headers. I now have Ordered som JBA ones that are meant for the 2 Cat setup and also ordered a Y Pipe to ease the flow from the two cats into one Mufler. This ended up costing me alot more, but I think the Ceramic Headerswill be better.
