Default Governor, Need Help, Please !

Hello
Thank U, one andall for allowing me the privilege of becoming a member.
Now I shall bow and ask for ur help guidance and advicewith my problemat hand.
I would like to know how can I remove the speed governor (2002 Dodge Ram 5.9) on my truck.
I actually bought a Hypertech Programmer to realize that it does nothing in the MPH (Raising) nor does it calibrate the speedo (due to wheel/tire change) Seems there is some ABS sensor ma thingy that does not allow it to be programmed on the trucks.
Not to mention if U raise the RPMs (max 500, increments of 100) pass 300 the trucks starts to choke at kick down at low rpms and even at high rpms it seems to be too much for the tranny or engine to understand and starts kicking back, stalling etc..U need to let go and kick it again. U ask me the only thing it seems to be good for is changing the octane levels from super to regular or vice versa.
Bottom line, if any one can pls tell me how to remove/take off etc.. the sensor that makes my truck stick at 160 (KMS.Not MPH) or 100 mph I would be indebted to U for a long time.
Thanks.

first of all [sm=welcomesign.gif]glad to have you.

how long ago did you buy the hypertech? If it was not too long ago I would recommend getting it returned and obtaining a superchips programmer.
If it has been a while i would try returning it due to being unhappy with the product (customer service).
it will allow you to do what you are wanting too. you could also take it to your local stealership if you happen to have a great one and a great relationship with them (but what are the odds there).
