My brother has a 04 1500 Quad cab Hemi and is getting a noise old of in rear end, we check the fluid it's up and told him to change it to see it that helps.

It more of a squeak now and again, so has anybody else had problems with their rear ends on 1500's

 

i know that a lot of 1500's have a problem with their lsd or c clip.... i believe

 

Yes, clips tend to fail. But you are also suppose to change the lube every 15K. This is missed by owners WAY to much!

 

He has only had itabout 8 months, got it off my brother n law, but that don't mean it was serviced on time, but I guess I tell him to check the clips too
