All I going to do with the truck I have now is most likly put a 1 or 2 set of cheeper tires on it change oil, and put gas in it untill it's paid Off wait a couple months then get rid of it.

I normaly get 150000 to 170000 miles out a truck before it get rid of it but this one will be around 90000 if every thing go's as planed.

man i thought you wanted better mpg but who wouldnt love to own a SRT-10 thats the god of all street trucks. when i was in High School i bought my 03 ram for 10k right off the lot. it wasmanuel every thing even with a tape player lol. since then i put too much money in it to where it is now
Well that has ran though my mine also but forget MPG I just not happy with underpowered trucks Now my wife has a new Buick SUV with a V-6 she can do the weekend driving around.

The CTD would be nice also BUT if I get anouther 4X4 I know my self Lift kit Big tires ect and after all the mods that wont get all that great MPG either.
Triton has 37's lift, runs 13's 1/4 mile and gets 17-19 mpg in a mega cab 4x4

My last truck I was running 37-14.50-18 with 6.5 inch lift 4.56 gears posi both endsEct It got 10 MPG on a good day I do mostly HWY driving.
It was fun to drive fun to go wheeling in but I tryed every thing to get the 15 to 17 MPG it gotten when it was stock but it was not going to happen besides with the over size tires it did not stop very good any more I am liking going around corners fast once again.

And 1/2 tons ride so much nicer than my old 3/4 ton plus I can get in to under ground parking once again.

Oh yea getting my Dirt bike in & out of a lifted truck bed was a PAIN.
