Tire size question?
Hey everyone,
I am new to the site so I will do a quick introduction. I am originaly from the Chicago land area. I joined the Navy in 1998 and am now living in Va Bch VA. I drive a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 QC Hemi 4x4 with the off road package. My current tire size is 275 70 17's and Iam going to replace them with the new BFG AT's. My question is can I put the 285 70 17's on or are they to big? Thank you for you inputs.

RE: Tire size question?
Thanks guys, I figured that I would be fine but better safe then sorry. I was thinking about cranking my torsion bars to give me the extra lift, but will make for a bumpier ride? Am I better off getting the leveling kit? In addition to the tires, I plan to install the Flow Master 40's. Any known does or donts?

RE: Tire size question?
yea the torsion bars are gonna make a stiffer ride and i dont know about the leveling kit.. my truck is different than yours.... as far as exhaust goes it is a lot to do with personal opinion there are tons of sound clips available for our trucks... personally i went with magnaflow had flowmasters on my old truck and didnt really like them..
