austin, you ask for assistance. The man with the know, gives you the info that he thinks will help you, and then you turn around and question the man...........If i'm not mistaken, there was a few people on here telling you to look elsewhere.....

If that's not enough, then buy the truck....

thanks nypanama lol...i took no offence to it, cant blame a guy for wanting to know other peoples opinions on stuff.....but i mean really the best advice any of us could give is just do what you want, i mean it's your money and if you like the truck then go for....but if it was me, i'd keep looking and i'm sure you can find one with less mileage for about the same price or a little more and be much better off...good luck

need to replace valve cover gasket if it's leaking lol

I am not going to get it it seems... But I am using this info for alllll the other trucks im gunna look at!

thanks guys,
Austin

The miles are kinda high for that year, but again I've had buddies run 300K on their diesels without hardly any problem except replacing tires I'd be more concerned about the fact that it looks like a "company vehicle"...Every time I've ridden with someone who's had one of those they beat the hell out of them. Same deal with rental cars, my bro-in-law works at abig rental company as a mechanic and tells all sorts of war stories about cars that come back just thrashed..so moral of the story is ~80K miles is nothin' for a diesel engine but the common opinion is if it's a company car / rental it's quite possible the former owner "drove it like they stole it"....

Austin, I agree with the guys here. If it was a company truck avoid it. Looked like a really nice truck, but rental cars and company vehicles always get beat into the ground. I think employees see it as a way to get back at there employers (not saying I'VE done it).
