lifted 2002 dodge ram.
well i need to know when i put 35" tires and 20" offset off road rims. should i change to bigger brakes? and get the oddometer fix? and to save gas whats a good intake? and powerchip and sparkplug wire?
i would say to do superchips... it will improve fuel economy add power and calibrate your new tire size as far as intakes go everyone has a different opinion so its more so what you choose... i dont have a reccomendation for a 5.9 or 4.7 sorry... and i believe a lot of guys like the taylor spark plug wires...
I personally wouldnt even bother with the 4.10's just go with 4.56 gears. You definately wouldnt regret it. A superchips would fix the speedo for you too but you could get that done at the delaer for about 25 bucks too. If you really want some power you could skip the tuner, get a new cam and have your computer custom flashed!!

$25 for a tire size reprogram?!?!?! what is your dealer's name??? doin that use to charge the customer a 1 hr diag fee which was usually anywhere from $72-95/hr depending where you live....it's complete BS i know...but yeah i would deffinitly go with the 4.56's...a cam is always a nice thing too
4.56 gears with 35's. Also ditch the 20" wheels unless your doing it just for show. You'll find that you won't have near enough flex or floatation with 20" wheels unless you get up over 37" tires. If your not really into off-roadin' you'll be ok, and the look with the 20's will be nicer, but in mud, rocks or general trail riding they will suck.
All the guys in my hunting club in Ga. get pretty new 4x4's and they all come with 20" wheels now, after the first Hog Hunt way back in the swamps or jaunts through some red clay mud they switch right away, not to mention just trail riding tends to jar your kidneys out as there just isn't enough meat to flex and absorb much.
