P 0306
Have a 02 ram 1500 std. cab and a light came on this morning and speedo says P 0306???Any ideas?
I found that #6 cyl. may be mis firing...great!!
I HOPE it's just a plug or coil pack, but I work about 60 miles from home. How necessary is it that I get it fixed right now? Can I make it home (should I even try?) It looks like the #6 is dam-near impossible to reach...any ideas?

Just start cheap and work up.
1. Replace plugs
2. Replace inginition cables
3. Replace the coil, that is if the truck as coil packs on each cylinder, which in 02 I do not think they did.
Yup, is a misfire on cyl. 6. Like 94rt10 said, pull the plug, check it, check the wire. Clear the code and see if it comes back. Odds are you will never see it come back again.
